Young lady
You did not say what your age is? There is reasons to know, but I will give you one side of this...
Most of the "girls" teenagers are over 15 when they make love to a boy that they reallly like, you do not need to love him, as love does not last for ever. STD does thou. there is a blog Sexapeal you should go read the infomation in, but here is one of the postings about the vagina; read and contiune to the bottom.
1. The vagina is a muscular “barrel” about 3-4 inches long, in its non-aroused state, lined with mucous membranes, similar to the lining of the mouth.

2. The vagina is angled upward at around a 65 degree angle, which very closely corresponds to the angle of the average erect penis.

3. The vagina isn’t a wide-open gaping hole. It’s a collapsed space that expands and contracts when excited or penetrated. When in a non-aroused and un-penetrated state, the walls of the vagina collapse against each other, sort of like a firehose.

4. The vaginal lining is pink and glistening and has folds, called rugae, which give the vagina a ribbed texture. These folds are much more pronounced in younger women and gradually disappear as a woman grows older.

5. The vagina stretches out when the lady gets excited. The cervix and uterus pull up and back, extending the vagina by about 1-3 inches. The back of the vagina balloons out to create more space.

6. 2/3 of the nerve endings in the vagina are located in the first 1/3 of the vagina.

7. The first 2 inches of the vagina are the tightest during intercourse, due to the vaginal swelling and engorgement of blood.

8. Vaginas of sexually mature women are elastic enough to accommodate nearly any sized penis.

9. Around 1 in 5000 women is born with a disorder called vaginal agenesis, in which they are born without a vagina, in spite of the presence of external genitalia, such as labia and a clitoris.

10. Shortly after stimulation, the vagina begins to lubricate, forming what looks like beads of sweat all over the vaginal walls.

A) Get yourself a large mirror and lock you bedroom door, remove all your clothes and take a good look at yourself, your total body your breasts and vagina areas - notice the vagina parts move them around and the feelings as you touch them, This is a good idea to do every four to six months, to note the changes and write them down. - Hair growth, Color changes, Size and anything else you did not see the last time.

Bottom
Now you have a like new information on your self this may help, but yes it will hurt, and it does for the male, the male has a part in this also for his size and care to you, but for very little problems to major cramps and non-menstrial bleeding.
If you are older & on your periods, switch to tampons, this helps with the expantion and how things feels entering your vagina, get a "sex toy" and masturbate with it, this will not get you pregnate, but if you wish for a male's penis, then place yourself on birth control first, and always use a condom, STD will be "harder to take hold"
So i know this has helped a little, so read the blog and return to ask more questions at any time
Thanks for reading this long one

Uh... well the logical thing to do would be to wait 'til youre 1) ready to have sex, 2) old enough to deal with the consequences that may be involved with having sex, and 3) on birth control.

Don't want to get pregnant? Don't have sex. Kinda what me and my girlfriend are doing. No intercourse, but everything else under the sun is acceptable. Neither of us are ready to have children, so yeah... the best birth control is abstinence.

There is nothing wrong with having sex as long as you are old enough and ready for it and with someone who you care about and who cares about you!

I assume from your post that you are a girl, and sex can hurt for the first few times. Mine did, but you soon get over the hurting and it starts to feel good.

Its difficult to describe how it feels as its different for everyone. Just wait and see!

Definitely get some sort of birth control organised especially if you are seriously considering having sex. Condoms and the pill are both highly effective at preventing pregnancy and when used together are almost foolproof.

Don't rush into it, you have your whole life to experience sex! There are plenty of people who dont wait and regret it as a result!

Your parents wont find out unless you or someone else tells them or they catch you at it! As long as you are old enough (16+) and taking precautions i doubt they would kill you - they'd be glad you were being responsible!

You've got some great advice above from some very wise people. I won't try to go much further than they have covered....

except, I will apologize for the long-winded post from "Guest". WTF? While his info is correctly quoted from another source, it doesn't seem that it is what you were asking at all.

I'd trust the next to posts more than his advice, though the facts that he quoted are all correct trivia.

Good luck.
Let us know what you decide.
Oh, and your age when you decide too!
