I have uterine fibroids and know that myomectomy is an option for me, though I can choose to leave the fibroids intact or try with medication too. I am not sure what to do. The fibroids do cause me a lot of pain, and I would love to be free of that. Can anyone tell me concisely what the side effects of a myomectomy are?
