Please tell me something about myomectomy. Can it cause infertility? What surgical methods are used in myomectomy? How long does it take to recover completely?

Myomectomy is used for surgical removal of fibroid tissue from uterus. Myomectomy preserves fertility. Woman can stay pregnant after myomectomy. Surgical methods which are used are laparoscopy, laparotomy and hysteroscopy. It depends on size and location of fibroids which method can be used. Recovery time may vary from few days to 6 weeks.

i am afraid i will never be able to have a child........i had a myomectomy in december 07 & my fibroid has grown back to it's original size (4cm) & i do not want another surgery. I read about uterine artery embolization, does anyone have any advice??
