sore, week, tense muscles what is it?

My problem started about 6 yrs ago. At first it was in my jaw and ear. I was diagnosed with TMJ. After treatment for TMJ my symptoms did not get better. I found that the pain was only radiating further down my right side. I was then diagnosed with a worn disc (C-5,C-6) and underwent anterior ACDF surgery. That was over two years ago.
Since that time pain has been at times unbearable. I find the muscles in my neck, shoulders, arms, hands and now my legs seem to get stiff, tense and heavy leaving me feeling as if I've participated in a marathon even though I've been sitting in a chair or lying in bed.
I'm starting to get extremely worried, maybe paranoid, because it seems my condition is getting worse.
I've had numerous MRI's, EMK's (nerve conductor test), and physical therapy twice.
Anyone have similiar symptoms? Or can advise me on what could possibly be going on?
