Last week on Thursday the 25, I had surgery to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Surgery went smoothly, but a few hours after the numbness wore off, I was in extreme pain, and the percocet, 7.5 milligrams, wore off after every four hours, so I had to take it very often. I think I had about maybe thirty or forty pills, I can't remember I was so drugged up. But I stopped taking it two days ago. I never was addicted to it. I hated the way it made me feel if I forgot to take it for an hour. It would make me nauseous, dizzy, feverish, just horrible. Even when I was on it, I felt that way, also I saw double, basically, the medicine made me feel high. But not in a good way. Now, even though I haven't taken ANY at all for two days, I've been feeling more sick, dizzy, nauseous, I wobble when I walk, I can't get to sleep, I'm absolutely completely miserable. I need to know if these are withdrawal symptoms, and if they are, if they're normal what I can do to make them go away, and how long with they last. Please, I really need help, because I don't think I've ever felt this miserable before. And I think it would be helpful if I said I'm 18, and never had percocet before? Thanks, all.

I dont think you were addicted to them but obv. your body's telling it doesnt agree with you. Lucky you ive been on them for months and will have a huge problem when i need to get off them for my back pain. I would mention this to your Dr. For sure. I think after all the swelling goes down you will start to feel better. Those teeth are so close to the nerves leading to your inner ear it may have effected your balance. Its also a side effect too so the combination of both may be really throwing you off. Rest sleep and drink lots of fluids to flush them out. Remember to mention this the next time you have a procedure and you can get another medication prescribed . Good luck and feel better!
