I have just recently started Seasonique as a form of birth control, as well as a way to prevent migraines related to hormones. I waited a full week after I started my pill pack, and made sure I waited 5 days after my last dose of antibiotics from a sinus infection before having unprotected sex with my fiancée. I started my pill pack on Dec 1, and waited until the 8th to have intercourse. If it matters any, I do take a vitamin supplement every day.

However, over the last few weeks, I have felt exhausted. My breasts have been very sore, I have been cramping, felt nauseous, occasionally get headaches, have had uncanny food cravings (aside from chocolate/sugar like normal), and will pick up on very strange smells from across the room that normally wouldn't bother me. (I.E. Christmas trees, plastic smells from new shower curtains from across the apartment). I've not had a large amount of stress, and when I had my period prior to being on the Pill, I never really cramped all that much, nor had breast tenderness. I'm planning on taking a HPT just in case when it gets to be appx a month from my last period to be sure and will stop taking my birth control and revert to traditional methods (condoms/spermicide), and if HPT is + I'll make an appointment, but if these symptoms won't subside, maybe I need to change pills...)

I was just wondering if anyone else had similar symptoms, or if it really sounds like I could be pregnant. Thoughts? Answers?

The same thing has been happening to me except i spotted pink blood on and off for two days and have gotten to the point where I have thrown up and have had food aversions. I was also on antibiotics for a sore throat and tonsil issues and I haven't been careful with my partner, so there is a strong possibility....another thing is I miss about 3 pills a week and I never take the pill at the same time every day...Im not trying to be a parent I just forget sometimes. But you should take a pregnancy test asap and see a doctor.

I have been on Seasonique for about 2 years now. I missed a pill about 3 weeks ago, but took two the next day. Two days ago, I started my period, even though I have another month before my scheduled period. Yesterday, I had no period or spotting. I have experienced tender breasts and I've been nauseated. Could I possibly pregnant? I also take certain medications that would mess up a child's process of growing, so if I am pregnant, I need to know ASAP. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet, but I as soon as I get paid. All advice helps! Thanks.

I have had the breast tenderness for sure. Some days my stomach is a little upset.. And for the post above mine about missing the pill and not taking it on time every day, if you have android on your phone i recommend lady pill reminder!! I use it and it reminds me every day to take my pill!
