Hello all, 

I recently got an IUD two weeks ago, and to combat the daily mild cramping I've been taking pain relievers (either Aleve, Advil or Tylenol) in the morning. Usually two to start, and if I need more one more pill sometime later during the day. Yesterday I took two extra strength Acetaminophen pills in the morning. Later that night I got drinks with my friends, (I probably had around 4-5 drinks total), and this morning when I wiped the first time during my bowel movement I noticed bright red blood appearing. Thinking I was on my period (it's due to start), I put in a tampon and didn't think anything of it. The next time I had a bowel movement, there was a lot more blood. Both on the toilet paper and in the bowl itself. I'm not in any pain whatsoever, and I'd be surprised if it had something to do with me taking pain relievers since I wasn't overdoing it at all (in my opinion). The first week I got my IUD I was taking more pills daily, and on two of those days I even drank a lot more than I did last night. I had no blood in my stool then. 

Is this concerning? Should I see a doctor?
