I too had the operation now going two weeks and some and the smell i don't like, it smells like a stale period flow, and I'm a clean person, at work i have to be changing napkins often because i could actually smell the odor, I tried using tissues and i found that the smell was as pronounced as it is on the famine napkins, anyway i'm waiting for my cycle with is due today but still i haven't seen it, i had the burn procedure instead of the freezing one to get rid of the abnormal cells, the first day after the operation i felt like I have having menstrual cramps, then the watery substance started to flow, it's color is a watery slightly cream color, and runs freely, thus making one to have to wear the napkins.

I had the cryo done 10 days ago and the smell down there is disgusting. I use pads to soak up the watery discharge. I've been drinking a lot of cranberry juice. I don't know if it really helps but the smell is not as strong but it's still there.

I had cryosurgery on Thursday, that day and thoughout Friday there was clearish discharge, no blood. By Saturday there was a horrible dead fish odor. Saturday night during my shower and reached up into my vagina and GENTLY and SLOWLY ran my finger around my cervix. I was able to get some very thick smelly mucous discharge out. I did this three times. The total amount I got out was about 1 teaspoon. Since then there is no odor and very little discharge. This is my own personal experience. I am not recommending any one do this. I did it because the odor was unbearable for me and I needed to do something. Again, I am not recommending that anyone do this. I am just relating my personal experience with cryosurgery.

I had it done two weeks ago, the watery/bloody discgarge I can handle but the smell is getting me crazy. I went back to my doctor and he told me it's totally normal and that I'm healing well, but I'm not happy at all. I change my panty liner every time I went to the bathroom to pee, and I feel depressed and ashamed. I'm not allowing my boyfriend close to me as I feel like I stink. This is really getting me sad. Is there any natural remedy to handle this???

I am 8 days post cryotherapy, I feel like.im constantly wetting myself there is that much watery discharge. Every time I roll over in bed I leak, walk I leak, climb in and out of the car I leak, I'm running to and from the bathroom all the time cause I just feel always wet, and now the last 4 or so days I have noticed a vinegary smell as well. It started off quite sickly sweet smelling but now it's a vinegar smell, and the discharge is tinged yellowish
I am going to talk to my Dr soon, but please someone tell me it gets better?

Hi, for me it’s been almost a week. Having mostly the same problem. Something that has help a lot is that I’m using pad for bladder leaks instead of regular period pads. It’s helps with the discharge since is watery and with the smell. Hope it can help.

This does help. The doctor who did my procedure said to come back if I have odor pain or colored discharge. Well 3 days later here we go dealing with the odor. I don't even want to go to work and I think I'm peeing much more sense.
