Hi there,
Iwas diagnosed with Benign intercranial hypertension in 2006 and had my LP Shunt fitted in March 2007.
The shunt made a huge difference but all of my symptoms have remained in varying degrees. I lost about 3 stone throughout the worst of my illness but im afraid ive put about 2 stone back on within about 8 months, i fell in love ha ha !!!!
I have noticed my headaches coming back with a vengence and now i am suffering terrible back pain exactly where my shunt was fitted.
Is there any chance that my shunt could be displaced? I am very concerned.
Sincerely
Dawn
