I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I am a 29 year old female, mother of 4 and fairly active woman. I had some discomfort in my stomach, lost some weight due to no appetite, have had mood issues, itchy skin, feels like my body odor is more potent (yuck I know), etc.So I had an ultrasound done 2 weeks ago. Long story short they found a 4.5 cm mass on my right kidney in the lower pole I believe. They also said I have sponge kidney and can't entirely rule anything out on my pathology reports. I am waiting for my CT results as the doctor didn't like what he saw. I also was told during the same appointments that I have galbladder colic, polyps and stones and I will need that removed. Is this common, especially in someone my age, I am only 5 ft 3, 114 lbs, I am not someone who feels I should have all these issues going on? I was an athlete in hs, and am constantly moving at my job and with my children. No major symptoms other than minor discomfort and occassional very painful nights after I eat specific foods, feels like a hard rock is in my tummy, right above my belly button.. I am scared and not sure if this is a cancerous issue or something minor, especially with a 4.5. Cm size.. If anyone has an experience or has something similar I would appreciate it.
