Hey, I am a 14 year old male, approximately 5"5 , brown hair and hazel eyes and a bit overweight and have a few pimples.. and I like my best friend a lot. She is a beutiful skinny blonde with blue eyes about 5"2 or something and she has a great personality. She is the perfect girl, always smiling and always nice.. and I don't know if she likes me.. She knows I like her, and how much I like her :$. She always cheers me up when I am down and she is just so kind. Sorry if I am rambling btw. 8-|
She looks at me in the eyes sometimes and smiles, and I try to smile back but she quickly looks away. She even came to one of my bday party's when she was the only girl coming. I always cheer her up, not long ago we had a school dance and she flirted with this guy who is now her boyfriend when she already had a bf at the time and some people have been calling her a s*** and I helped her through that, she thinks I am kind but I just need to know how I can find out if she likes me.

Wow, I don't envy you at all! That is such an awkward age to go through, girls can be so wishy-washy. There's really no way to know without just asking...and even then you may not get a straight answer. Most females at that age don't really know what they want either so she may say she likes you, but the next day change her mind.
You can continue to enjoy her friendship and hope someday she'll develop deeper feelings for you, or you can risk making the friendship akward by telling her how you feel and asking if she feels the same way about you.
I know all about being shy as well. I've lived with the regret of not being more open with my feelings towards some of the girls I had crushes on but now that I'm older and have perspective I realize everything turned out fine and I'm extremely happy with my wife.
Just keep your perspective, life will turn out OK no matter how screwed up everything can seem at times. Hormones at your age will filter everything you see and experiance so bear with it.

if you told her you like her then there isn't much else to do. you made your move, and now the ball is in her court. she may tell you she likes, or she doesn't but most likely she wont repsond at all. she could be shy to express her feelings or afraid she might hurt yours.

I am the same way. I am in middle school and really like my best friend but i think she just likes me as a friend but after spring break i will ask her. BTW i just reilised i am just talking anout me. But just ask her how she feels about you. I think that is your best bet.
