My father in law was finally diagnosed with tietze's and has been suffering for the last couple of years in moderate pain. The source was 2 open heart surguries that damaged the sternum. Surgury to scrape the effected cartalige was suggested, but no follow up information provided. Is there a source for post operative results about such a surgury? Is is recomended? Nothing has helped, initially because it was being treated as a heart-related issue. Any information or links will be helpfull, Thanks.
