My girlfriend has a 25 day menstrual cycle. We had sex 1 day after her period and we got the morning after pill 9 hours after that. 10 days later we almost had sex but we stopped soon after realising what we were doing but I sort of penetrated her a little so we took the morning after pill again just to be sure. She had a light bleed/period 12 days after taking the tablet(8 days before her expected normal period) but only for one night. She had brown discharge after taking the tablets. Its been 13 days and we are still waiting for her period. We plan to see a doctor on Monday if nothing happens. Any advise does anyone know whats happening?

It is very unlikely she's pregnant. Plan B taken within 72 hours is very effective.
Her period will return to normal in a cycle or two.
She can also take a home test now, since her period is late.

I did the same(ish) thing in january, its now april and my period is still a mess... i started worrying it could be something other than pregnancy... seeing some of the posts makes me feel a bit better, but would be good to know before taking the pill. It has been a long time though so im still nervous, negative pregnancy test. Only thing different is i had my copper iud removed in november last year...thinking maybe that has affected my cycle too... any words, thank you!
