i had this procedure done to one hemorrhoid at noon yesterday.  The procedure itself didn't hurt at all. I just felt like maybe I had to use the bathroom after and felt I had to pee. Frequently!  But by 6pm I was in terrible pain.  Most of the pain felt like it was coming from my bladder.  Plus horrible pressure in the whole pelvic and then also internal areas. I took 1500mg of Tylenol at 6:30pm and it barely took the edge off. Then I had another 1000mg at 11pm before bed. This worked! I slept through the night and woke in no pain. Today I'm sitting on the couch all day to be safe (and also bc I'm extremely tired- I actually have critical level low iron anemia from bleeding hems).  I drank 8-10oz of prune juice the day of the procedure and had liquid stool before she did the rubber band. I think that helped a lot. And prune juice is my plan for tonight too bc liquid stool doesn't hurt the area. I'm hoping this post will be encouraging and helpful for someone out there.
