I am wondering if anybody with Ulerative Colitis/IBD has had a hemorrhoidectomy. Were there complications? Was healing time longer than 'normal' (whatever that is)? I am scheduled to have the surgery in 2 weeks and would appriciate any input or thoughts and experiences on how it worked out. Thanks

My mother had IBD and had a hemorroidectomy, she was probably in bed for two weeks afterward but she was a more old woman so it might now be the case for you.
