It's been a while since your post. Please let us know what you found out. To answer your question: There is a reason that she wouldn't have a period for a year, i.e. medication, BC, stress, regular/vigorous activity. We would be interested to hear the answer to both questions...pregnancy and no period for a year. If she doesn't have yearly ob/gyn exams, she should consider that, especially when she is sexually active. Take care of yourselves and let us know.
