So, I had sex for the first time with my boyfriend the day after my period ended. I was still taking the sugar pills of the pack. Later that day, I took a normal birth control pill, but I had been taking sugar pills for 5 days before taking a birth control hormone again. This was my first time having sex, and we did not use a condom.

I bled very bad after the sex, I assume because he popped my cherry. But it took about 30 minutes after we had sex for me to bleed.
He did not cum inside of me.

He has had other sexual partners, but I haven't. It has been about 2 weeks, and now my discharge has changed. It is thicker and has developed a smell.

Is it possible for me to be pregnant?
What does it mean since my discharge has changed?

Hi guest,

It does not matter if you are taking the sugar pills, you are protected as long as you have been taking your pills as directed. The sugar pill is more of a reminder to keep taking the pill regularly.

It is unlikely you are pregnant. The timing is off and you are on birth control.

The thicker mucous could be sign of an infection. Possibly a yeast infection coming on.

Thank you so much!
I was worried an infection might be the reason for it.
