Vaginal Brown Discharge - Ovulation?

Im nearly 15 and i've had my periods for two years now (though they aren't exactly regular). I've never had sex but my boyfriend fingers me a fair bit. Recently I've started getting brown discharge in my underwear. Alot of the posts I've read said that its usually due to ovulation but that it should only last a couple of days, where i've had it for about four or five days now. Is this normal or am I sick in some way?

Hi i'm 19 and i'm scared.

2 days ago for the first time in my life i let a guy touch me down there and "eat me out" i didnt enjoy it, i was so uncomfortable.
then the guy tried getting inside me but i stoped him several times, but only once he has able to get the tip in, but i pull him off me. so the day after i noticed that everytime i wiped myself down there i would see the toilet paper be brown and have some sort of brown dirscharge but only like a lil piece of it, and i just went to pee, so it wasnt poo,
so i didnt think too much of it, but 2 days later i kept seeing it everytime i went to pee.
so im getting worried and im not sure if its called brown discharge. how do i know if it is brown discharge how does that look like?

and i kept reading these replies and they said it migth be early pregnancy or dried blood, but i dindt have sex, cuase he didnt go in and he didnt cum in me or around me. and i havent had my period yet.so im confused but scared cuase i know there has been cases of pre-cum..

so please someone let me know im scared i never had this happend to me before. what should i do im desperate for help. and im scared to tell anyone.

hi, im not replying to anyones question, but i have one of my own.
im 16 and only became sexually active about a week ago.
im on birth control, i use alesse.
we didnt use protection. and now i dont know whats happening because ive noticed brown discharge for the past like 5 days.
and ive kind of been feeling cramping as if i was on my period but just not as strong as my cramps usually are.
im worried and confused.
can someone please tell me whats going on?

on October 8th, I had unprotected sex, but I took a Plan B pill right after and the second Plan B pill 12 hours later.
In mid-October I accidentally forgot to take my normal birth control for about 3 days, so my period began.
I waited a few days for my cycle to continue, then took a new birth control pill (the first active one), and went on from there.
In early November (this month) I noticed quite a bit of brown discharge (which my nurse told me it was break through bleeding), and I started to get really worried that I was pregnant.

About a week ago, I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I decided to switch to the birth control patch instead of continuing with the pill and possibly forgetting to take one.

My "break through bleeding" is still continuing, but isn't quite as heavy and my breasts are VERY sore.
Being only 17, I'm really worried about the pregnancy test I took earlier being wrong because things like this have never happened to me before.

Could someone PLEASE give me advise on what could be going on or what I should do?

Hi I'm Taylor. I'm having the same problem although i've never had sex I'm not on the pill but my boyfriend does uhh "play" with me quite a bit... I'm about 17 and I'm just a little worried, I also just taken meds for a UTI that I got a few weeks back. So I'm just a little worried about that. I've read the posts above and most say it's normal but they also talk shot being sexually active so it concerns me a bit. I had my last period about two weeks ago and I'm expecting the next one in the on coming two weeks... If someone could enlighten me I would really appreciate it. Thanks. right i need some help. ive had the brown discharge as well.

im 17 and ive been sexually active for a few years. ive been with my boyfriend 3 or 4 months.
i was on the pill in december but when my month pack was up i decided to swap to the injection. it was given when i had a couple of pills left to take for the month. i wasnt on my period and i wasnt told i was meant to take the last 2 pills.

i had sex, then found out i wasnt protected for 7 days after having the injection, so i took the morning after pill.
i was due my period at some point that week but it was a week late and i only bled for a day or so. then a couple of days after i had pains while peeing, then the next day i had a brown vaginal discharge. it doesnt smell or anything. :?
im really not sure why, and im really worried.
when i had the pains i thought i just had a water infection and i took powders for cystitus. they stopped that day. i dont know what to think now. am i pregnant? do i have an infection? is it just old blood?

i would really appreciate some advice, i dont know what to do and i dont feel comfortable talking to anyone about it. especially my boyfriend :(

i'm 17 and im having brown discharge it started when i started to take birth control, im suppose to be on my period right now but its just brown.. help

8-| Ok i have been having a brown discharge with spots of blood but more brown since 2/20 and its my time to start and i havent had any symptoms of a regular period instead i am getting this brown S*** in place of my period and i am not pregnant unless its imaculate.
Its just a big scab that formed in your vaginal area, its not a big deal - But if it worries you that much go see your doctor.

I'm a sexually active 18 year old and I'm on the birth control pill. The person I'm having sex with has had no other sexual partners.
It's been 8 days since my last period and yesterday I discovered my discharge, which is usually white and normal, has now turned brown and watery. It also has an unclean sort of smell although it's not strong I am still concious of it when alone.
It would be great if you could tell me whether or not this is something to worry about as this hasn't happened before.

My girlfriend and I are not sexually active. Although we "experiment" with other types of sexual activity, there is no intercourse. She is having brown spotting a week after her period, what could this mean?

Hello. I am seeking answers as it seems most posters here are....
I had a missed miscarriage and D&C on Aug. 12th, 2010. Although I was believed to be 15 weeks, my baby was only measuring 12 weeks w/no heartbeat. My doctor advised me to wait two weeks or until the bleeding stopped (cervix closed) before having any sexual activity, baths or use of tampons. The bleeding lasted approx. 2 1/2 days and then I spotted for another 2 1/2 days, basically just like my period. My husband and I have decided to ttc again and resumed love-making on the 11th day after D&C (6 days after the bleeding/spotting stopped). I took a HPT to make sure that my HGC levels were back to zero (negative result) first. We also had sex on the 13th day after (2 days later) and I had no pain or anything during intercourse BUT when I awoke the following morning, I had some brown blood and discharge when I wiped and light brown spotting for the remainder of that day (the spotting stopped after that 14th day). I have also had lower back pain that can be related to early pregnancy and/or ovulation, right? I already know the 4 reasons that brown discharge occurs: infection (when accompanied by a foul odor which is not the case), early pregnancy or implantation which usually takes 6-10 days to occur (but this was only 3 days after the first love-making session), ovulation (which is possible considering the fact that the D&C is basically considered your first menstrual cycle but I have never had ovulation bleeding before), and the last known cause is your body cleaning itself out (which is definitely a possibility as well but I'd think the D&C and bleeding afterward was my body's way of naturally cleansing and, at this point, I'd completely stopped bleeding for at least 8 days). My questions are: is there any way that I could have implantation bleeding only days after becoming pregnant? How long should I wait to test for pregnancy? What are the odds of this being a sign of ovulation? And why would I have O signs when I never have in my 20 yrs of menstruation?

Hello I am 22 years old. And I am sexually active. And I have the same issue as everyone else over here. But with my case its like this, I've had sex with my bf last week...and its always been protected sex with a (condom) off course. And as much as I know it has never been leaked or ripped. But now from almost a week I have been having a brown discharge as well. At first I thought it's maybe my periods that's coming, because this happens at the beginning and at the end of my monthly time. And the smell is the same when I get my period. But this time I really don't know what it is. Because I am not bleeding its just this brown discharge that's been going on for a week now. And sometimes there would be a little drop of blood not fully just like in a pink colour. So I am really not sure what's wrong with me. So if you could tell me whether or not this is something to worry about? I would really appreciate it. Thank You! :-)

I have a question.....i am 26 years old and my husband and i have been trying to get pregnant. We have intercourse regularly (like 4-5 times a week). I have read of getting "old blood" after your period but I have brown discharge before my period. I get my period every month but never around the same time....I have always been irregular. What can this mean? Please help

Hi im 19 recently sexually active and a few weeks ago my boyfriend and i had sex (unprotected yes i kno) on the 3rd day of my period. i figured it was somewhat safe since i had my period, but he was still paranoid . abt 48 hrs later i took prostinor 2 , had no spotting . ever since i hadnt had any vomitting or belly pains or you know pregnancy symptoms . yesterday we had intercourse again (protected) and im noticing a clear discharge (which is normal) but its drying with a brown outline..

should i be very worried? or is this just nothing ?
