Any un-sterile substance that gets into the urethra of your Penis has the potential to cause infection. However, given the nature of the urinary system it is unlikely you would get infection unless the vasiline itself was contaminated.

Hey it sound like you have some extra seman hiding out, that you pee out and the vasiline was just holding it in, now vasiline is not harmful, :O it is a oil base gel, and does not wash off, :-( but wears off, so it is not the best to use, %-) a water base lube is, :-P and can you can buy it at any discount or dollar store. while you are in there, :-| pick up some condoms, to use as the "catch can", :$ they keep the area cleaner & dryer
