Okay, so...
My boyfriend and I have been together almost 2 years, and about 6 months ago, decided we would have our first time together. After a couple of months, we tried, but, we were both very nervous and so it didn't really work out. We gave it a couple more months and tried again, and it still didn't work, so we waited again, and still, it didn't work when we tried last month. But, when we last tried, it hurt so much that I had to stop.
I researched about this a little - in magazines and on the internet, which said that we're not ready, but I was sure I was ready, so if I think I'm ready and I'm not, how can I be sure when I am?
But, even so, I'm quite terrified now, because I know the first time is supposed to suck and is supposed to hurt, but, I'm really, really worried about it being painful, and I'm scared that might even be what's making this so hard for us.
So, any help is appreciated.

The best advice I can give you here is just to relax, and see where things take you. Worrying is only going to make it worse for you. If it feels wrong, try another approach. Try foreplay... but don't try to fool yourself by thinking you're ready if you really aren't ready subconsciously. Just have fun with it, and you'll do fine.
But make sure you're using protection. Remember: Safe sex is sexy.
And good luck.
