Was she still a virgin or not?

I had a girlfriend from college.  I knew she was a virgin as I was her first boyfriend.  After we graduated, we dated in a motel. Since I was also a virgin, I didn't know what to do. I failed to penetrate her and so to devirginize her. Two days after, she left for Middle East country to work as Sales Coordinator in a Duty Free Shopping Complex.  We lost communication for awhile.  After 5 years, we communicated again and met. She said she never had another boyfriend. We did it again this time. Expecting her hymen still intact, I'd expected for some blood stains and difficulty in penetration.  Unfortunately, I did not experience both.  I did not ask her for the reasons that it was not appropriate and maybe because I loved her.  She is now my wife and have children with her. But there are times where that situation flashes in my mind. I sometimes think she cheated on me. And I had this unanswered question.  Was she still a virgin or not?
