I quit Cymbalta in March. I've weathered all the nasty "brain" withdrawal symptoms and they finally seem to be gone. However, my joints and tendons are so messed up. I pulled a tiny muscle or something in my foot just by walking on the beach. I couldn't walk for two days. I paddled a canoe and couldn't sleep for two nights because it felt like my shoulder bone was being frozen. When I went back to the treadmill after taking a month off (during the worst of the withdrawal) I walked two miles which caused a severe pain my knee that lasted for two weeks. I keep walking, ever so slowly each day and it's not getting better. I also feel like every cell in my body is five times it's normal size (water retention?). The fact I gained nearly 30 pounds in six months while on Cymbalta does not help. (Haven't gained any since I've been off of Cymbalta.) I was much heavier with each of my pregnancies and felt no such pain. Also to the point, before coming off of this drug, I worked at a garden center and moved sod, bagged soil and landscape trees daily with no pain. Any one having similar issues and if so have you found any solutions?
