my parents have just let me out of my bedroom , i have been LOCKED IN all weekend, it was a punishment for sneaking out while grounded, and swearing at my parents, i returned home from school on friday at 4pm, i was then escorted to my room, i had to hand over my phone, pc, tv and ALL entertaiment, i was then LOCKED IN my room, the next day i was woken at 6am, after a shower i was then locked back in my room, when i asked my parents where my clothes were , they said school clothes ONLY black skirt, white shirt etc, after breakfast, LOCKED BACK IN ROOM , i had to write a 4 page essay on unaceptable behavour and punishments, i then had to copy this out 2 times making a total of 12 pages, on sunday LOCKED UP IN MY ROOM, plus another 4 page essay this time on the importance obeying ones parents rules, it was a MISREABLE punishment , ADVICE PLEASE ?

On the other hand, the punishment as such may not have any effect, but it may leave you time to think about your actions and maybe during that time try to talk to your parents, where you might have a little more constructive conversation, without a lot of noise, cursing and mutual accusations.
