Hello everyone, I'm writing because recently I have experienced a lot of vaginal discharge, and it has an odor to it. I went to my doctor and got tested for STD's and she said the tests all came back negative and gave me some antibotics to cure up the discharge. Well, they worked for about a week, and then the discharge came back. When I speak to my doctor about this she acts as if I'm crazy and I shouldn't be worried about anything. But, I think it is a big deal. The discharge is very uncomfortable and I'm scared that I may have a STD and that I may end up passing it to my partner. Is there anyway the tests could have been wrong? I'm just so scared!

If the discharge is smelly and itchy and you have tested negative for STI's then it is probably thrush or bacterial vaginosis. I would suggest going to a different doctor and getting checked again, as they both have different treatments. Hope this helps
