vaginal discharge and odor

i am having the same problem .. I have been tested for std's and the test came back negative. They did a wet prep and looked at it under the microscope and the first week there was some bacteria , then i went back the next week and there was 3x as much bacteria as there was the first time.. she put me on antibiotics and some anti-itch pills.. its been two weeks and im still having the same problem.. so i will have another wet prep done to see if the bacteria is even worse this time.. on different webpages i've found the following things to ask my doctor: check my hormone level (urine test), find out if i may have vaginal allergies, not enough yeast in my body or to check out side effects of the depo birthcontrol shot because i've been on that for a while and that may have a contributing factor.. if i find out annything i will post for those of you who have similar problems..MY PROBLEM HAS LASTED FOR 2 YR'S NOW.. so i know how frustrating it can be...
