I sometimes get this strange feeling in my head when I start to remember certain things. I cannot imagine for myself what it might be but it feels an aweful lot like blood rushing to a certain spot in my head that just doesnt work.

Oddly it occurs when I remember things from my childhood related to older ladies who have since died (my great grandmother for instance). A flashback of something that my brain related to or reminds me death or silence.

Of course, I know nothing about the inner workings of the brain but I can only decribe the feeling. It feels like the sensation ranges from around my sinuses to the tip top of my skull.

The feeling is like.. a rush, where I feel like I am falling backwards into my head and I get tunnel vision. To be honest it feels like I am dying. Its almost like I hear something also while it happens, but I do not really hear anything... its more like.. well, an internal noise of blood rushing to my head, heh.

I cannot explain this but wonder if its something someone else has experienced before.. thanks for any advice.

I too have this odd feeling and it doesn't always associate with memories but with certain fears or when I'm driving or very nervous or anxious, so I assume it has to do with overstimulation of some sort. I have dysautonomia as well more specifically POTS so it may have something to do with that but it is an awful adrenaline head rush type feel like your gonna faint thing its AWFUL so I feel your pain. I am also a member or medhelp you should research there as well take care stardusted
