I have MS... And I have the same tingling sensation around my ribs and a little lower... It comes and goes.

I also feel this but it hurts sometimes, I am the kind of person to stress heavily and looking up some things that it might be isn't helping me at all.
I have not been to the docter yet, since highschool has not been giving me any free time with my homework and assignments. :)

I had shingles which started with muscle spasms on left side under chest above lower ribcage. After two days the rash appeared with chicken pox type near spine and rash curving around on left side of body. The chicken pox virus lives in the root ganglia of the spine and attacks a nerve path. Now I have PHN, the neuralgic pain which has continued for over two years.

Hi kerry I'm 21 year old guy and I'm having the same problem. I don't know what to do. And I have been stressed out lately and have poor habits eating. It's really annoying and it creeps me out. I reed on the net that if you push it, it goes in behind the rib and I guess it gets worse! Should give Dr. a visit!

It seems to go away and then suddenly appear again.... after reading all the stuff people have posted on line about having doctors baffled, I have decided to wait a little longer before going thru a bunch of tests.
For one thing, I am revamping my diet. No fast food. More veges and I'm drinking homemade cleansing smoothies (made with ingredients like kale, cranberries, banana, coconut milk, avocado, etc.). I have also begun drinking flax seed (and taking GasX for now), drinking a full 8 glasses of water (64oz) daily and gave up my sweet tea addiction -- instead I have hot green tea in the mornings.
In just 1 day the feeling of tingling/air bubble was gone. In just two days I feel almost completely normal.
I need to lose weight and so I am going to see if a better diet and weight loss don't make a difference for me.
