I had this for two years straight and I was going out my mind trying every cure under the sun although all my blood tests, urine tests and stool tests came back Fine, I even went for ultrasound and nothing was found! Eventually I was told that it was a physical feeling caused by anxiety and mental things bothering me from the past, things that I knew I had issues in school and at home but was not aware how much it was still playing on my mind, I went to see a therapist and was amazed how much these things had been affecting me, I was crying and crying at different things that had happened to me in the past which releived me of the symptoms! I am currently 90% symptom free and still having sessions, I highly recommend taking this route although it is expensive but well worth it!

Three days ago this tingling sensation started on my left side lower rib. Then minutes later there was a tightning that spread to my stomach that made it difficult to breathe. While this was happening my fingers began to stiffen and my tongue got heavy like i was getting a seizure. I was close to a hospital so i drove there quickly. Doctors didnt find anything wrong with me based on a blood test. He said I suffered a panic attack. Found that hard to believe though. Was a scary situation, especially since my wife and baby was in car and I had to blaze through traffic to hospital.

...I think doctors kinda' label everything as anxiety. It's more like "Not sure what this so let's just call it "anxiety". Tingling can be a sign that your back is out of place, and you don't even have to have back pain although that usually accompanies it. Becuase your back is out of place, it's going to be putting pressure on nerves and organs, meaning there's not a lot of blood flow getting there. Going to a chiropractor can help and in all likeliness fix the problem.

An example would be my dad going to the hospital becuase He felt tingly everywhere, had shortness of breathe, and a little chest pain and I don't recall the other symptoms. He went to the hospital, they checked him out, and told him it was just anxiety. They checked a second time and found he was having a mini stroke, if he hadn't received treatment, he would have left a wife and 7 kids without a father, all becuase it looked like anxiety. They also found a tear/hole in his heart. At the same time, anxiety can be very real, definitely not denying that, but much of the time, while it can be caused by stress, there are many other things that can cause it. They told my dad if he hadn't been taking the herbs he'd been taking, he would have been dead a long time ago. Many people rely on their doctors because, you know, that's a doctor's job, to help you, but they prescribe all these things that help short term, but long term causes more issues. Dad HAD to take the treatment which was a blood thining medicine of sorts, I think, that the doctor prescribed, so yes, many times it is very necessary to take what the doctor gives you. However, he only needed to take it a few times. There are healthy ways to feel better again as opposed to taking anxiety medicine, which might work a while, but I'd say 9 times out of ten it's causing other problems in your body. There are natural plants that help physical problems that many people are unaware of. At the same time, people think more with their taste buds and pop a pill instead, becuase it's easy and usually doesn't have taste, or they don't think it'll work...well, you don't know till ya try, and trying certainly won't hurt you. Oh no, the worst thing it can do to you is make you more healthy, GASP! We wouldn't want that now would we? I can't eat gluten becuase I get severe joint pain, my sister gets stomach aches from it (btw that can cause anxiety too). It hits everyone differently in our family, but I'm amazed at people who have the same symptoms I do, even go to the doctor and are told "you shouldn't have gluten" but then tell me "man I don't know if I can give up bread and pasta." I just kinda look at them like " DO YOU LIKE PAIN!? "WHY IN THE WORLD ARE YOU TELLING ME ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS IF YOU WONT DO AAAAAANNYTHING ABOUT THEM!! (internal screaming) AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Anyway, look stuff up. Gluten cuases anxiety and stomach issues.

I have this to.Well at least twice now. Minecame on the first time from way over eating and laying down. Pain under left rib then seemed to follow along my left bowel. Very bloated.Pooped normal in next morning. And yes I felt like those baby kicks. My doctor told me to let him know if it happens again.
Well last night I had corn beef and cabbage.I just kept eating because it was so good. Then It started again. Not in any great pain but this ticking like pain starts under rib.I know it's pockets of gas tucked up under my rib at first.Anyway I think it's either irritable bowel syndrome or the beginning or diverculotis. I live alone and my eating habits are over the top just before I go to bed and sometimes in bed.I put on 25 pounds over the winter. Also my thyroid medicine needed to go from 100 mcg to 125mcg. Just started yesterday.I do not exercise during the winter months.I get a lot of exercise spring, summer and fall though. My stomach still has pockets of gas and left side is more uncomfortable than mmm usual. If I don"t take care of this stressful eating I know something is going to happen on left side. Thanks for listening to me ramble on.

I’m 47 and I have it to and have had it on off for a couple of years. Been to doctors and it looks to be stress related as all my tests were great. Just an annoying tingling pain in my left ribs that seems to get worse when I’m stressed or run down.

I fell recently and bruised or possibly fractured ribs on right side. I had a lot of pain for weeks in that area. Could not sleep on that side etc. Used ice and then heat. Had xray which didn't show fracture but Dr. said I might have a fracture since they sometimes don't show up on xray. He gave me steroids which helped but now I have this strange 'fluttery' feeling almost like quickening feels when you are pregnant and first feel the baby. It doesn't hurt but is driving me crazy. Not sure this relates to others problems since I know the fall caused all this but I think it might be a nerve injury or maybe a muscle twitch due to fall. Stinting it with a pillow or wearing a rib binder seems to help. If someone else has had a fall this may relate to your issues.

Anyone answer? I’ve been having the same sensation for the past several days-it’s like my nerve endings are going off & causing this weird tingling/numbing feeling.
