There are many ways to treat ganglion cyst. One way is aspiration of the extra fluid that creates mechanic pressure on surrounding area off joint in question. Cortisone injections could help a lot. They have immediate analgesic effect, anti-inflammatory too and this is one of the ways to reduce increased amount of the substance.
