Hi, I have to write some about myotonic myopathy. It is a kind of homework. I have found some things about this disease but it is not enough. I was not present when my professor has the lecture about it. I need to know what problem people with myotonic myopathy have.

Well, the myotonic myopathy is specific. Peoples can have various symptoms. Here it is.
Muscles that are affected are usually on the neck, jaw, face and large portions of weight bearing muscles on the legs. It is good that the rate of deterioration is commonly slow. Stiffness of the hands is one of the characteristics. All those symptoms can appear from childhood to old age.
