When am I going to have my period?!?!?!

I've learned a bit more about this topic. About not wanting to start them in awkward places, don't worry. If you have at summer camp, just tell a female counselor. She'll understand. Just make sure you have feminine products easily accessible at all times.

If you start or have it at school, don't be scared to ask your teacher to go to the bathroom. At my school, girls walked around with bags all the time. No one ever suspected if they were on their period. Just at the beginning of school, wear a bag with feminine products in it to school. If people do suspect your on your period, just ignore them. If that person is your friend, they shouldn't be talking about you if they're a real friend.

At a water park: technically the same as at camp. Tell your parent or a trusted adult if you can go to the bathroom. If you know there won't be an available bathroom, where a feminine product just in case.

By the way, I've had all the symptoms you have too. Don't worry though. It won't be forever. You'll be fine. Just don't forget to tall a trusted adult!

Your first period is normally very light. Then its all over te place. It sounds like you started your period

Well I'm not a professional because I ha net even gotten my either and I'm turning 14 THIS YEAR! I have
Signs like I will get really strong discharge then light discharge i don't really cramps I have like once or twice I have had discharge for like 2 and a half years I really wanna know so I can be prepared and by the way I have like a fair amount of hair in the pubic region and also aluttle armpit hair WHEN so

Me, well, my symptoms are :

-Cramps in tha "under tha bellybutton area"

-More frequent headaches

-Lower backaches

-Angry more often

-Clumsy

-Achy joints

And Im 12 years old.

Well i'm only 11 and what i learned in class is the white sticky stuff is called Vaginal Discharge it means your gonna have your period pretty soon!! BTW i have that too its all good it just your Vagina cleaning itself (i'm guessing it cleans itself cause if the blood and "stuff" mix together you might get blood cancer of some sort) << I was just guessing for that last sentence.

Okay the white sticky stuff is discharge. It is the vaginas way of cleaning out and waste or old cells. It is completely normal. It starts off kinda white or clear, but when it is brown or reddish, you should start wearing a pad. Your period will be coming soon.

Well, I'm 12 and i have just finished my first period, unfortunately I started mine in school:$ So I was really embarrassed, luckily I had some panty liners in my bag so I just ran to toilet and checked my pants, and there it was. I had no symptoms of starting my period soon, alright I have quite a large chest a size breakthrough I had been getting discharge for a couple of months, everyone told me you had to have discharge for about 6months to a year before you can start, but I didn't I guess everyone is different. To everyone who hasn't had their period yet I would Cary some panty liners in your bag just incase, didn't really know what to say but I hope this helps you guys a little x

i see alot of people on here saying they want to start theirs and they are all like 11-13. im 14, a freshman, and i dont want to get mine but i think i am soon :( latley ive been breaking out more, been moodier, had alot of discharge, and have cramping. all my friends started theirs in 6th grade, and they are all like "dude, you havent gotten yours yet?!" man... i reallyyyyy dont want to get it!

im 12, i live with my dad and its kinda awkward, i have had the white stuff in my pants for about 6 months now and the colour isnt getting darker, i have only had a few cramps i get back aches and mood swings... im prepared for the day i start and i take pads with me everywhere just incase it starts at school or something.... %-) my mum started when she was 13 but i dont know her anymore... ;-|  just want to know some more facts about when you start ??? :-| hope you can help me :-|

It's fine if you have cramps but don't bto excited when you finally get it it's horrible and the white/brown sticky stuff is "discharge" it's the vaginal area cleaning its self soon after about 9 months-2 years you will probably get your period depends when the discharge and cramps and other symptoms started to kick ito good luck and I'm 16 so dogwood luck

Hiya, Im 13 next month, i've had all the signs but no period....:/ But I know it will happen so im enjoying my time without it!!!:) The white sticky stuff is called discharge and usually happens around 6 months - 2 years before your period. Ive had it for years now! Where are the cramps?? If there just above your 'part' then its most likely period pain, but this is normal. It will happen soon by the sounds of it - you just have to be patient!! You'll probs have lots of other signs too in the future, just talk to your mum or trusted adult about it if your worried. Some more signs are: Pubic hair in 'part' and armpit, mood swings, headaches, spotting (this is where tiny little spots come out right before your period, some you can barley see and others are really heavy), PMS (Search it up x)
