I'm 14 years old and I still haven't had my period! I have had the discharge for at least a year, a year and a half maybe, and before it was quite liquidy and then this week it was super thick and then for like the first time I didn't have any discharge at all. It doesn't smell bad so I don't think it's a yeast infection but i just don't know whats up! Is it normal to have discharge for that long or the fact that I am the only one of my friends who hasn't had their period?! What's going on with my body?

Hello there, Try not to worry, every girl develops at their own rate. If possible, ask your mother when she started, often, but not always, girls will start around the same age as their moms. The fact that there are noticeable changes in the discharge could be your body preparing for menstruation. I wouldn't worry just yet, however, if you haven't started by 16, then I would talk to your mom to make you an appointment with a gynecologist to rule out any gynecological issues that could be delaying your cycle, such as PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) a condition that can affect your hormone and chemical levels in your body, causing irregular and no menstrual cycle, among other issues. You will most likely start here soon, and then wish you didn't :-) I hope this has been helpful. Good luck.
