I'm in the same boat and it sucks, though my symptoms are a little different. I injured myself during intercourse, too hard, too long and got what I would say a "Rug burn" on my penis. This was a year or so ago. Since then, it always heals up, doesn't scab, but is more like a thin red place on the penis just below the head. I went to my doc and he's given me antifungal creams which did nothing. There is a bad smell that comes from the place and I wonder if anyone else has noticed this? It's an odd odor and I've never had it before this.
Anyway, I finally found pix online that look exactly like mine and it's psoriasis, or at least looks like it. I immediately went and bought some cortizone 10 and it burned, but the pink went away. I've been trying to abstain as much as possible and now it's healed up, but you can still see where it is, a very pale skin color. I'm afraid the skin will re injure when I have sex full bore again to be honest. I would suggest you search amazon for internal remedies and try those. I have a dermatologist appointment next week and I'm going to ask him about it. In all honesty, it doesn't seem like doctors really know how to treat this. I didn't have skin disorders before injuring myself, so I'm hoping it'll heal and I'll be normal again.
It would really be great to stay in touch with the folks still here and to hear what's working for them, or what they're trying. I'm going to try supplementing with fish oil and Vitamin D tomorrow. I'll post results and also what my visit reveals next week. The biggest thing for me was just finding out what the Hell it is!
Peace,
D
