At work? hell no, I've seen how well they clean!!
At home? Hell no, either, I've got a longer haired dog and no matter how much you vacuum there's always that stray hair.....

no chip that's been on the floor at work shall go into my mouth.

chips are rough and are surely dirt/skum/hair/cow-worker filth magnets. no way in hell that thing is even getting touched.

at home - only if it fell on the wood floor and i would then give it a blow.

I'm with rollingrock. Only at home, and only on a wood floor (carpets have pet fur).

Never at work! You know how many people walk through here and how little it gets cleaned? 8O

As a matter of fact, I drop animal crackers, peanuts, and alphabet cookies all the time at work and don't even hesitate for a split second before tossing them in the trash.
