I have been on suboxone for 1 full year, starting on 16mg. I quickly dropped to 8mg within the 2nd month. I stayed on 8mg for 3 months. I then dropped to 4mg for the next 3 months. Once again i dropped to 2mg for about the next 4 months. I've read all the posts that i had time to, and it really discouraged me. That's why i stayed on 2mg for a month longer than any of the other mgs. The doctor told me to drop it down to 1mg, but i didn't. I just stopped takeing it at 2mg. Its been a week tomarrow. How do i feel? Well the first 2 days, like hell. Abdomnal cramps, diarria and no energy. Day 3 Abdominal cramps, no diarria, and still no energy. Day 4 still no energy wasnt hungry but no cramps. Day five i woke up hungry, but still no energy. Today my digestive track seems to be back on track but i still dont have much energy. Is it impossible to deal with? No. But it is hard to get a good nights sleep do to the anxiaty. Witch i think has to do with the lack of energy. I am 25 years old and in fair shape. And Like i said earlyer i was only on subs a year. But i am going to make it. And thats how you have to think. I'll post again next week and let you no about the lack of energy and anxiaty. Good luck to any one in the works of getting off. Its not an easy road but you will make it just like I am going to make it.
