I have secondary adrenal insufficiency caused by a benign brain tumor. I've been on the use of steroids for two years. Before diagnoses my periods were light and would stop half way through the cycle then start up again. Now they are so heavy I can't even go anywhere when it starts. I'm considering strong feelings towards the surgery, but I get no reply from my endo as to how safe it is. My gyne says with the surgery you get to keep all the hormones, my endo says it's my choice. I take it it's ok to go ahead and have the surgery. I'm really interested in it. I'm only 35 this year, but I go through a super plus tampon every two hours with blood clots. That is gross, and I know that the steroids are probably causing most of my problems and they are for a life time as I don't produce much cortisol. I'm asking your advice on what to do??? Or rather what your recommendations would be???
