Acne is an inflammatory skin disorder of the hair follicles and sebaceous glands. They are divided into two groups: non-inflammatory such as whiteheads and blackheads and inflammatory such as papules, postules, nodules, and cysts. They do not appear just on the face and can be found in the underarms, groin and buttocks, and under the breasts in women. Acne can also arise after shaving or starting a medicine. Talk about your acne problem, treatments and products you tried or are planning to try out as well as prescribed medications and other cosmetic treatments.

Skin can get infected by bacteria, viruses, fungus and parasites. Most skin growths are harmless but need to be watched for any changes that could be indicating abnormal cell division. Sunburn is caused by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun's rays as well as tanning lamps or welding arcs. Suntan is caused by the skin exposure to lesser amounts of UV. Talk about tanning products and sunburn prevention and treatments, as well as sweating disorders such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and prickly heat.
