Well, I’m sorry to hear all that but I have to agree with your doctor. Unfortunately, at this point there is no cure for endometreosis. But, fortunately, there are many treatments that can help you deal with it. But, before you choose any of those, you must have a good relationship with your doctor – decision must be made by both of you. I will only mention these treatments – talk with your doctor about each one and together with him decide the best solution for you. Treatments are: pain medication, hormone treatment and surgery (really the last option). I hope this helps. Good luck!

| I found out in 2005 that I have endometreosis and then a month later my sister who had no symptoms found out she has it too. This disease isn't fun. I went thru treatment called Lupron. I was given a shot of 13.25mg of Lupron then three months later came back and got another shot. I'm not sure I'd recommend the shot (lupron) the side effects are pretty messed up, but if you're strong willed like myself then you can get thru anything. Keep your stress level down, maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine. I've been introduced to many women that have it or know or someone who has it. Let all your girl friends know, they might laugh and say I don't have those symptoms...but it could still affect them later in life. |

| Do not take hormones to cure it. See a specialist there are only 5 in the U.S. I seen Dr. Kanayama in New York he believes in effectively cutting the endo out and curing his patients. |
