I guess you might be confused with similar condition to hypospadia, which is known as hydrocele. Differently, this is collection of fluid within the process vaginalis, and it produces a swelling in the inguinal region or scrotum. It all depends on severity of hydrocele, according to how much fluid is there. You should not be confused with
varicocele as well, since this is not the same as hypospadia as well. This is a problem in the veins, blood vessels, which feed the testes. Problem is that they can get large producing a big mass and its treatment is different then for hypospadia. Hypospadia is a congenital defect in the
urethra, which occur in the male. Problem is that there the urethral opening occur in an abnormal position. Epsipadia is similar to hypospadia, but this occurs in the dorsal surface of the urethra. You could see pictures of difference between hypospadi and epispadia, and those pictures after surgery. Treatment of hypospadia depends on the case it self, if it is affecting the urination or sexual ability then surgery is indicated.
