Fleshy colored bumps on mons pubis??

So last year I noticed one bump on my mons pubis. I've only ever had sex with one person, whom I lost my virginity to and at that point in time i was the only person he'd been with as well. I like to stay cleanly shaved so I didn't mind it and now there are more. I've voiced my concern to said ex and he says it's probably just razor burn? They are flesh tones, not red at all, no puss would come out if i were to try popping them, just blood. Hairs do grow from them. Is this an STD? or is it possible it could be something else? it is only on the pubic hair area and are not on the labias so I assume there are none inside me? I want to get check but I am uninsured and have no doctor and don't know where my birth certificate is. I almost want to post a picture, because they do not look all that similar to std pictures shown, but I am not sure and really want to get this taken care of because it is embarrassing.
