Hello! I heard that there could be some side effects with using prometrium. My cousin was using the capsules and she reported brownish yellow discharge. Are there any other possible side effects?

Hi there. I used to use prometrium capsules and I never had any problems, but yes, it is true that prometrium can cause yellow discharge. This drug is used to prevent cell overgrowth in the uterine lining in perimenopausal and postmenopausal together with estrogen therapy. Some common side effects are breast tenderness, dizziness, abdominal bloating, and vaginal discharge.
