I'm 25,not sexually active, obese and have had irregular periods since i was 15. I started my period on the 11th of this month.ONE day it completely stopped..then started back up that monday(started the 11th,stated up again on the 13th).
its the 20th now,and i've had cramping the past 3 days, and won't stop...my period should have been over like a few days ago but doesn't show no signs of stopping

i don't take any birth control pills,i'm on pain medication for my lower back from my pain management doctor.

Is there any thing i can do?i've tried searching online but its mainly about pregnancy and there is 100% absolutely no way i can be prengnat cause i'm NOT sexually active in any capacity. I don't see a obgyn, sorta afraid of em and all..but i don't see myself having anything major going on...

I think that no matter if you are afraid of gynecologists or not you will have to go and see one, because I think you pretty much know it yourself – something is off with your menstrual cycle and it won’t repair itself on its own. Since your periods were always irregular and now you have this long period with bleeding that won’t stop, I think that it definitely means that your hormones which regulate your ovulation I menstrual cycle are out of balance and there might be several conditions that are causing this and all of them are treatable. You will have to face this fear someday and really, bleeding for this long can become a major threat so this probably is the time to go and see a ob-gyn.
