Going on for four weeks now I went to the er a week ago they did nothing gave me pain meds I am really concerned I have never had a cycle like this can any one help me figure out what's wrong ??? Could it be my birth control ? Should I stop taking it ?

Some birth controls can cause you to have severe reactions. You need to make an appointment with your doctor about trying a new birth control. Also your doctor will check your uterus, ovaries, etc to make sure everything is physically okay and probably run a few test to check your hormone levels, testosterone levels, and several other conditions that could cause bleeding.
