41 yrs old 5 days late

After a women hits the age of 35, the chances for conception decrease, not that i'm saying she can't conceive, but it just gets harder as the years go by. At 41, you may be, and i say maybe because this happened to me, be starting your decent into early menopause. Don't freak out now, it's just a possibility. I went thru meno and was finished with all periods by the time i was 46 and have not seen a period since. Are your cycles in tact, meaning have you been regular until now? The churning stomach could be a sign of pregnancy. Wait another week and if you don't see your period, take another test.
I was watching the baby channel the other day and a women gave birth to a healthy baby at the age of 47. Good luck.

had test for menopause @ the doctors not going through the menopause.my cycle is regular has clock work 28 day cycle.

I wouldn't rely to heavily on a HPT, maybe a trip to the doctor is a good idea.
That would be great news to share with everyone on Christmas morning.
