For the past year I have been in agony with what feels like a water infection. I have had countless urine samples done, and each one comes back as 'clear, no further action needed'.
Even when I'm not going to the toilet, it still stings, burns, aches and feels really uncomfortable.

I have had scans, blood tests and have been tested for STIs, but again everything comes back fine.

I recently had a bladder stretch and am waiting for the results from the biopsies. But I am at my wits end. The doctor is running out of ideas. No medication has worked, and it is really bringing me down. I have been told it could be something called Interstitial Cystitis?

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be or what might help?

Thank you.

I was going to suggest that. Since the tests are coming back neg you can ask for a cystoscopy to look for this.

My daughter suffers from IC and your symptoms do sound alot like hers.
When you had the cystoscopy done did they tell you how much fluid your bladder would hold? My daughter was told hers only holds 8oz. That is part of the reason for her constant urinating.
Her IC was diagnosed though through a cystoscopy. Did a urologist do your procedure? We have found that alot of GP MD's aren't very familiar with IC.
