You sound exactly like me I also take Paxil 40 mg and the combination is homeostasis balance Normal and I am female and adult w/ add and frontal lobe atrophy having been a German Measles fetus I cannot thank certain people enough for thinking outside the box for me I am changing from my provider a psychiatric md who said to me no one knows the mind I don’t care what antidepressants ur on their all the same and everyone has atrophy dead brain tissue I am lucky to have been born and fortunate to survive a near successful attempt cause no one walks in my shoes each brain is a finger print. I know my mind suicide not an option but I see how it happens if not for the grace of a psych ward there go I . . .

I feel exactly like you do, use the Adderall like you do too. I appreciate you sharing, because now I know I'm not alone. Most doctors won't prescribe it, they want to give antidepressants of which I've tried them all. I didn't like any of them except maybe Paxil, but it made me gain a ton of weight and break out if I went in the sun or Wellbutrin which made me the least nauseous. All others made me so sick I couldn't function and I felt like a space cadet. I would leave keys in the car, left the car running when I went in the store, paid for gas and drove off without putting it in. I go in the sun to raise serotonin levels, get rest, relax and try to do things I like to fight the depression. I too am in a family situation that contributes to depression. I get it from a psychiatrist, I told her I couldn't concentrate and wanted to take classes which was true, but then found out how it helped me out of being lethargic when I got depressed.
