Im 16 and on wednesday i had a partial circ operation and frenulumplasty to over come phimosis and tight frenulum.
Its now 2 days later and my penis is in a mess. Im sore and inflammed and in the night I get a massive amount of pain from night erections - it pulls on the stitches causing it to bleed a bit. How can i stop this?
Secondly the gap exposing my glands is closing up into a small hole and every hour it gets tighter and everytime i go to the toilet to urinate it gets more difficult to pull back the skin, is this normal because im scared of going to the toilet now and it really hurts?
Lastly I have loads of skin on the underside of my penis hanging over and on the top side (what i see when i look down) there is a fair amount of skin missing. Again is this normal because it looks awful to me?
PLEASE PLEASE help me i cant sleep and I dont know what to do- i have important exam work to do and I am afraid Im going to miss out on the classes this coming week as I can barely move without agrivating myself.

Yes, it can be hard concentrating on things a couple of days after circumcision but what you are going through is perfectly normal after circumcision.
Your glans is supposed to be sore and red and inflamed and hurt, it’s not pleasant but it is how things work!
As for the night erections, there are things you could do to prevent them. First of all, make sure you empty your bladder before you go to sleep. Secondly, don’t sleep on your back but on you side and try to stay in a fetal position and draw your knees closer to the body.
As for the draining liquid, it is also a normal part of the healing. First, there is some blood and later it turns into a yellow discharge.
Make sure you keep your penis clean with plain water and mild soap.
Now, I am not so sure about this gap closing and covering your glans. You may call your doc and ask or even go and see him to check if everything’s right.

Its been 8 days now and its stil swollen but not as painful as I have antibiotics fighting an infection on it. The doctor said all will be normal soon, as for night time erections what I found to be useful was bringing my knees up and putting a large cold metal spoon on my stomach and backs of legs to shock myself.
Its on the way to recovery however its still swollen. I hope it goes down soon!

Its now been 18 days i think and everything is getting better. Its starting to feel more comfortable walking and doing everyday things. slight problems are that the glans are very sesitive and stick to my clothing and underneath my foreskin in a couple of parts it seems to be red raw with like a slight cover of blood over the top. Today i managed to pull my skin back far enough to just see where I had the fenoluplasty done and it too seems still quite cut!
Im sure it will get better and if anyone has any questions they would like to ask please feel free on asking- thats if your thinking about gettin one done or have just had one done.
Also if anyone has had one of these done and is fully recovered- please drop by a message as it may be helpful for me!

hey man. i'm 16 too and ive got tight frenulum, i want to get a frenoplasty but how do you tell your mum or dad about it? one of my gf's wanted sex but i couldn't give it cause i was embarrised by my frenulum. please help in telling me who to go to, to get it done. and if i have to tell my parents. how?

Its been 8 days since I had a partial circumcision--dorsal slit. A yellow discharge ozzes out on the top side below one of the stitches. Is it an infection? Should I take antibiotics and which one?

I had my circumcision a week ago - I have the same symptons as above:

still open cut in one place and this has a large swelling above it.
I think this could be an infection but though it was just swelling so I am seeing a doctor tomorrow.
It is very sore and I can't even wrap the dressing around the shaft properly because of the inflamation/swelling. It almost looks like another gland attempting to grow on my penis.
Has any had that before and what did you do?

Hello I'm having exactly same symptoms like you now. I had my partial circumcision 5 days ago, and it's look horrible, sweeling is so big that look like small baloon. I'm realy vorying about that, but my doctor said it's normal. How are you now ?

Hi ,i had Partial Circumcision 9 days ago and doc said he did made a cut on frenulum also as it was tight .at present skin is covering 3/4 th of glans( both when flacid and during night erections). it does not retract during night erections ,may be its not supposed to as the frenulum is cut. i dont know .
There is stiches around skin margin .but i can see only 2 stiches vertically on the place where the frenulum used to be ).
Its the 9 th day and recovery is ok but swelling is still there .
My problem is i cant retract skin now ,too painful.not as much as i could before surgery .
Doc said it is due to the swelling and there is stitch on frenulum.it will be okay once swelling goes away and stiches dissolve.

But am affraid is there adhesion as it looks like skin stops retracting where i can see the

WHen i asked,doc told that much retraction is enough.(but before surgery i had more retraction ).he said it will be ok .

You made my day guest , I'm having the same issues on the 15th day but I didn't call the doc and I was in a bit of a panic. Are you still here to share your progress ? I was able to retract my foreskin completly before the op (flaccid) , but now I can't pull it over to see frenulum stitches. When did the stitches desolve for you?
