So I was at a sleepover with a couple of friends and we got some vodka. We didnt want to spend that much money, so each of us only got a shot-worth of it.

We each had our own regular sized red cups and put in about a shot of vodka, then filled it to the top with cranberry juice and sierra mist. Ive had sierra mist before (although only once b/c i dont drink soda) and ive had cranberry juice a lot, but this was my first time with vodka.

I didnt notice any feeling of being drunk or anything the rest of the night, but the next morning I was completely dizzy when i woul standup or walk around, and my stomach was really aching. I had woken up at around 7:30am to go to a volunteer thing. When I got home around 1:30, I went to bed and fell asleep around 2pm. I did not wake up until 7:30 the next morning (today). I am still feeling extremely dizzy and.. blurry (for lack of a better word). Ive also gotten a bad headache, but that may be from sleeping so much. Could it be the vodka still affecting me as an allergy? I know i wasnt drunk b/c i barely had any of it.

Lots of people have allergies to alcohol. Usually the symptoms would present sooner. It is also unlikely that the effects would last this long.

Did you eat anything? Food poisoning fits your symptoms and would last longer.

If it continues or you feel worse, see your doctor.

I am allergic to cinnamon, coffee, penicillin, shellfish, red beer, and vodka. How common is this?
