I am a 35 year old female, I use to drink every weekend (Jack Daniels & Diet Coke) I was able to drink without a hangover and when I say I was able to drink, I drank like a fish. Well I stopped drinking for awhile and now forget it for the past year, I would try to drink a Jack & Diet and I would get and I would just throw up uncontrollably, so I thought to myself that maybe it is was the whiskey I could handle anymore, so I switched to Vodka & Cranberry, it didn't stop then to mer lot (red wine) and sure enough if I have more than 3 I am a goner, I will start throwing up early in the morning usually around 5-6 am and it won't stop until about noon, my face, eyes get swollen like I was stung by a bee, once I throw up all the liquid I consumed, I then start throwing up stomach acid, and during this time I am thirsty as hell so I drink ice cold water, and let me tell you that doesn't stop it, because it is as cold coming up as it is going down. So I was told the other day that I might be allergic to alcohol, so I figured I would Google it, and it seems like everyones symptoms match mine all the way down to the time frame of throwing up.
So my question if anyone can help me or give me idea's, how to I reverse the problem. I know to stop drinking or just have a couple glasses of wine, but obviously there has to be some kinda inside damage maybe to my liver or something, what if anything can I do to maybe start healing it?

Well, when it comes down to it, alcohol is a toxin to our bodies. If you used to "drink like a fish," then I would say the chances that you have damaged your liver over time are fairly good. Your intolerance to alcohol is your body's way of telling you "STOP! You're hurting me!"
I would highly suggest you do a detox program to assist in the healing process. Look into the proper way to eat, drink, and live to minimize the stress on your liver. The damage done to a liver due to alcohol is irreversible, so take care of yourself now to avoid misery in the future.
