am i haveing an ectopic pregnacy?

i am aving really bad abdom pains and i am loosing bits of blood hear and ther but brown discarge all the time, i havent had a period since 2months ago do u think that it could be an ectopic pregancy??
i av attended the doctors and they av sent a request 4 me to have a scan but i am worried that i am and by time i get the appiontment it will av all ready arrupted.
